Hi All.
I've just had my latest bill from virgin and there are 4 telephone numbers at various days and times, all listed as spec serv ? I do not recognise any of them. I must admit I checked my last few bills a bit more closely and there are a few on them as well, also some listed as NG1 again who are they?
I have also been billed for a call to london again no idea who they are.!!!
has anyone else come across these?
thanks
Tricia.

It's the class of number. So rather than be to specific towns or cities they are 'SPECial SERVices' or Non Geographical numbers - such as banks, insurance etc any 0845/0870/0844 type numbers

Thank you benMcr.
I have tried online to find out who they are but no joy all the sites i've asked say i need an area code. and even the london number is coming up blank. which goes to prove reverse directories are as much use as a chocolate teapot.
thanks again I'll ring virgin tomorrow and see if they can shed some light on it.

I also have two numbers on my next bill with spec serv on. But on rereflection, both numbers were calls made to Next.
