Re: virgin landline charge for 0844?

Its not clear. And I can only find 0845 charges.

I thought it was supposed to be around the 2p per min region - with a possible connection charge.

Re: virgin landline charge for 0844?

Hi deltamatrix,

Calls to 0845 & 0844 are charged at the same rate. The link shows a connection charge of 11.24p(per call) and calling charge of 10.22p (per minute).

Hope this helps.

Re: virgin landline charge for 0844?

Hi, Can you please give an update of the current charges from a Virgin media landline to an 0844 number and an 0871 number?

I find the online charges information extremely difficult yo understand.  Thank you

Judy

Re: virgin landline charge for 0844?

Hi,

it depends on what the 0844 and 0871 numbers are.

You need to look at this link to make a note of the charge band for that number.

http://store.virginmedia.com/content/dam/eSales/Downloads/010612NonGeoV1.pdf

Then at this link to see what the charges are for that charge band.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Re: virgin landline charge for 0844?

Hi

Can you please just tell me the highest charge I am likely to pay for an 0844 call and the same for 0871?

I cannot see myself ever checking the website and checking each number against geographical locations if I want to make on 0844 or 0871 call.  If I know the highest I can possible pay for the call, that will be enough for now.

Many thanks

Judy

[ Edited ]

Hi
Perhaps it is not going to work to ask for this information on the Forum. I am happy to go through all the 0844 numbers and codes if I have a hard copy but cannot print it out and do not want to have to go online each time I need to make a call.

Is it possible to get the call charges information posted out please?

Many thanks
Judy

Re: virgin landline charge for 0844?

Virgin stopped printing these lists years ago, as they are out of date within a couple of months of printing, so it was becoming too expensive to produce.

Re: virgin landline charge for 0844?

Yes, I can understand the cost of printing (and the fact they are out of date quite quickly!). What I am finding frustrating though is that there are different charges for different 0844 numbers and 0871 numbers. So many places seem to be going 0844 now (I have a package that includes 0845 but not 0844). At the moment I am just avoiding those numbers (or using say no to 0870). I guess I am going to have to use the charges sheets online.
