my telephone will recieve but not phone out calls, cannot phone in fault and cannot find way of reporting it on line, have done checks and gone round in circles on site, please can you help me, its been two days now and getting fed up trying to find way of doing this online, thanks

the alternative number to call VM customer services is 08454541111 which you can call from any phone, pay phone, mobile. It may be a tad expensive for you to call, so don't reply to my answer as bumping puts you to the back of the queue for a VM tech answering your post.

the phone rings and have used mobile to phone my landline and all seems well there, but landline will not phone out, there is dialing tone on picking up phone but then no ringing out sounds and nothing happens, once or twice it says number not recognised but mostly nothing happens, have checked service status and another phone.

If you had a dial tone which you could not break I would say the fault is on the line. The fact you can get it to say number not recognised would say its your equipment. If you have more than one phone socket with phones in make sure you disconnect them all before using a new phone.

i only have the one socket and it does not say not recognised when dialing out straight, it just does that when i wait a while, mainly nothing happens it just keeps on with the dialing tone and can only stop the dialing tone when i press the hang up button.
