Installation date for my new Virgin Media package was 24th May, & I still do not have a working landline.
I initially also had problems with broadband & email, which have since been sorted out, largely through the intervention of Alec, the manager of the Harlow Virgin Media store, which was much appreciated, since the installing engineer did not respond to my requests for help, & was generally an appalling advertisement for Virgin customer care - so much so that I feel it would be in the best interests of the company if he was no longer on the payroll. This contrasts with the engineers who were involved in a previous installation & provided excellent service.
Any assistance in dealing with my landline problem will be gratefully received.

I have run a couple of checks from here and everything looks ok.
We will need to book an engineer to go out to your property to get it fixed.

Thanks Virgin Media - problem solved by engineer in about three minutes flat! (Phone was plugged into old BT socket instead of VM one. )
