when i use 141 and dial a nuber quickly, speedial or dial a number too quickly in general especially mobile numbers i get a message telling me the number that i have dialled is not recognised.
is this fault with the line, it cant be the phone as over the years we have changed/upgraded our phones a couple of times, the issue still remains

Hi la_familla,
I dont think this is a fault it is just the information hitting the telephone exchange to quickly. Does the number eventually connect?
Thanks

it does connect only after re dialling.
is there anyway that this can be fixed because speedial feature comes in handy but only works after a few attempts.

Hi la-familla,
Assuming it is that the exchange can't keep up, then it's unlikely it will be resolved in the forseeable future.
What you could try as a work around, most phones that allow speed-dial, also allow for the insertion of pauses. Try inserting a pause between 141 and the number being dialled.
Cheers

what about pause141pausenumber would that work sometimes have to wait for the phone to register a dial tone probalbly about a second or so.

Hi la_familla,
You should get a dial tone - then dial 141 - then pause - then enter number.
