Problem with Telephone line - contacting engineer who phoned earlier

Hello,

We have been having issues with our Virgin Media phone line in the Port Talbot area and we recently had an engineer come to visit to check the line today. We were told that they might be able to put a temporary line in but they would need the permission of our next door neighbours who were out. He then left and told my father he would call back.

He did call back this evening at 4pm on my father's mobile phone with details. However there was some discussion required on this, and as he was driving we could not speak for long and asked if it would be OK if we called him back as soon as we were no longer on the road, which would be 10-15 minutes at the most. He said OK, and informed us his name was Michael. However we have now been trying to contact him for the best part of 45 minutes now with no success, and we really need to get this issue resolved as the estimate we have been given is inconvienient to us as not only is it at a time where we are unavailable but it will leave us without a landline for the best part of 3 weeks which is really not an acceptable time to be without a landline.

If someone is able to help with this issue can they please contact me as we do really need to speak to someone regarding this issue.

Regards,

Karl Williams
