Phone don't work !

Dear Virgin, My Phone doesn't seem to be working, sent an E-Mail to the powers that be, I got a standard reply, engineers are looking in to it, this however dose not help with the waiting time ??? am i to be kept in the dark, or may i have a clue on what, when, and if, there is going to be any positive action taken. yours Kim.

Hi Nil-points,

I have checked the service status in your area and there doesnt appear to be a fault specific to your postcode.

Do you have no dialling tone? If so if you could confirm whether you have been able to check the equipment and also if you have any additional features on the line if you could disconnect these.

Hi Emma, been through all the usual checks, as given on your web site, plugged two different phones in to main phone socket, one at a time, with no other equipment plugged in anywhere else, and I get no dialling tone, just to be absolutely sure, I will go and repeat the task now! OK task done, that is now three separate phones, one of which we checked as working at a friends address, and still no dial tone, when someone tries to phone my number they get a ringing tone, but my phone dose not ring at all,

Why have you decided not to reply to my private message, has it come to the point I have to speak of these most personal messages over a public forum, just another letdown by the industry that doesn't care Re: virgin media phone

Dear Emma, to keep thing short, My husband is epileptic, with a chronic heart condition, also registered disabled, my phone is the only lifeline I have to emergency services, which should be maintained 24 hours a day, as I have already explained in the past, and was assured this would be flagged and any problems delt with ASAP, so my husband and I, would not have to go through this amount of stress again, so in saying that I do believe that sometime on the 7th of February is in no way adequate. Tomorrow morning, the 6th of February would be much more acceptable. yours kim
