if you close down the virginmedia security by right click and exit/close
then if you goto start -> programs -> virginmedia security (folder), choose diag util.. once the box appears press ctrl+shift+u follow prompt is that doesn't work...
Question: How do I disable the Virgin Media Security password?
Answer: Removing the Virgin Media Security password will disable services that require a password (Parental Control and Web Privacy Controls services) and allow anyone to turn off Virgin Media Security protection settings.
On the left-hand side menu, click General Settings.
Enter your Virgin Media Security administrator password.
Next to Password:, clear the Enable password protection to prevent unauthorized changes check box.
A warning message will show, click on the OK button to disable the password.
