short 1-2 second lag spikes.

Hi, for the past few weeks every 10 minutes or so i'll get a random 1-2 second lag spike (rubberbanding). This happens even when im the only computer in the house and I've closed all processes except the gaming im playing and maybe chrome or something.

The past couple of hours the lag has become more frequent, happening every 30 seconds or so.

here are my ping ipconfig /t results (http://imgur.com/wpzQp68)

As you can see my ping spikes to 300ms+ really quickly then goes back to normal.

Re: short 1-2 second lag spikes.

So we can help us to help you, can you

Go to your Superhub Log in screen

Do NOT log in.

Little button top right.....

Can you post Upstream, Downstream and Network logs.

Screen caps are nice, C&P will do- Don't stress about formatting if you C&P. Someone will get a look and see if there's anything obvious amiss.

Re: short 1-2 second lag spikes.

Can you test wired?

Judging by BQM there are some lag spikes to your HUB, but not to the extent you are seeing LAN side. WiFi will amplify lag, so if you can see if it works fine wired, we know its LAN side needs work, not WAN side. If the spikes remain we know its VM's issue.

Re: short 1-2 second lag spikes.

My housemate is connected using an ethernet cable and he was complaining about lag spikes too, although his were at different times to mine and seemed to happen less often.

Re: short 1-2 second lag spikes.

Superhub has no QOS so if there's two of you using it at the same time, you'll see lag. Wired connection will see less spikes than wireless. Which sounds exactly like what you've described.

TEST (Im not saying run it permanently) with JUST the wired connection, wireless switched off.

If that works, its the fact the HUB is has no QOS. If it doesn't, its WAN side.
