Re: lag pretty much everynight after 7pm

When in modem mode with your PC it might be doing a download or upload you might not even know what at this time but many don't know what their apps are doing.

You can do a runnning ping to like 194.168.4.100 (VM external to you DNS) in cmd
ping -t 194.168.4.100

and with NetWorx check what might be causing it as the running ping spikes

its a lot harder to check in router mode with many devices.

Re: lag pretty much everynight after 7pm

Hi legacy sorry but usually the hub is in modem mode and the issue still happens the only reason it's in router mode is because I formatted the system and rebooted the router the night before to try and eliminate possible problems

However I'll re-do the tests but can assure you the issue still happens in modem mode

So if your usually in modem mode do you have a router or just the PC to it usually?

If needed you can setup a BQM and allow ICMP in for 80.249.99.164 in windows firewall

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

their was a case where overclocking can do some odd things to ping it might not seem it should but their was a old case of someone that had that.

it might be worth running  DPC Latency Checker this checks your system is fine and no drivers are causing problems.
