fault ref F004057863 for slow speeds after 7pm

I am constantly have problems with my email after 7pm.

It gives the message "server can't be reached" so much of the time.

Also my address book keeps being jigged around.

I wonder if you have someone who is dedicated to your email package.  It doesn't work very well indeed.

When you read a message a tick appears to the lefthand side.  Then you move down to the next message and read it.  You decide to delete the second message you've just read, but the tick is still on the previous email.  So you can quite easily delete both messages. 

Can you stop the tick remaining on the first read email after you've moved to the next email. 

Is there anywhere I can turn Syncing off?

I have recently been upgraded with the latest modem.  The engineer also put a booster on the outside and it is plugged into the electric in my flat.  How do I know that booster is on the correct cable. There are two separate cables into this house, the connections separated outside into 4 flats.  I also have an inside booster fitted onto the cable inside and it too is plugged into my electric. 

Why is the signal so irregular when there are 2 boosters installed.

Sorry to hear about the slow speeds experienced Emily2,

 

I'm unable to detect any cause for this at the moment. Are you testing this via wireless or a hardwired connection? It may be worth connecting a PC/laptop directly to our equipment whilst in modem mode to accurately test performance for this.

 

With regards to email, are you using a web browser to access this, such as via our website, etc.?, or are you using a client such as Outlook?

Hi and thanks for replying.
I am using a web browser (firefox) to access your site and so to email.
I use a wired connection directly into your latest modem.
It can take up to 10 minutes to get my email on screen, and frequently it gives the message server unreachable, also revives the last email I was working on and I don't know if Its been sent or not!
Virgin email is very unreliable.

Thanks for updating the thread, 

 

I'd like to arrange for an engineer to assess your connection. 

 

In regards to email, I believe the "ticks" are solely present to indicate that messages are read.
