Re: Xbox live on xbox one

Is the xbox connected to the router by an ethernet cable? It looks a bit like a telephone cable that plugs into the back kf the xbox.

Re: Xbox live on xbox one

You're not alone. There are loads suffering the same problem.

Virgin are determined to treat everyone as though it is a problem with their equipment and not a massive issue affecting lot's of customers.

Despite their own forums and twitter feed having people from across the country reporting the same issue they will talk to you as though you are alone in having the problem.

Xbox live forums and twitter feed also have the same issues being reported. Xbox say it is a problem with the ISP. Virgin seem to think you just need to restore your router to factory default.

It looks like virgin has become incompatible with xbox live. Very frustrating.

Re: Xbox live on xbox one

The past couple of hours I've been using a wired connection and it's a lot more stable than wireless  5g.

Re: Xbox live on xbox one

The community are sharing different things that they have tried. Some are having success by connecting to the 2g channel instead of the 5g.

You could try that and see if it works for you.
