Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear you're having trouble with ES.
There's an inaccuracy in your post that I have to correct, we are aware of issues with the SH2 firmware and are not denying that. We are looking into a fix for this and should have one very soon. In the meantime putting the hub in modem mode does negate the fault and allow you to game online stably.
Just as a P.S. power levels affect the signal coming to your hub from our network so it will have affected both wired and wireless connections from it. Just wanted to clarify.
