Xbox One Disconnecting From Games

Hello,

 

Ever since I got Virgin Media installed less than a month ago I have been unable to use my Xbox One properly.

When I try and play any online multi-player games I get disconnected from them without fail, every time.

 

I also get high pings on PC games and other devices such as phones and laptops disconnect periodically and run slower than they should be. 

 

I have tried changing every setting I could to get this to work, followed every solution I could find and have spent several hours on the phone with customer support to no avail.

 

I am trying here one last time for some help before I seek to cancel this unusable service.

I forgot to mention the Download and Upload speeds appear fine when I run a speedtest.

Hi mate try this out.

 

Here for anyone else having the same problem.

 

There's also a solution that a user here on the forums found, though it doesn't work for everybody. Here is how you do it: Go to your Superhub settings, click advanced settings, click wireless radio and change the 5ghz wireless to 54mbps. Then connect your Xbox One wirelessly to 5ghz.

 

I guess this will work for any other device connected via 5ghz.
