Since moving house on 13/11/2015 my son has been having problems with gaming via his x-box. It is the same x-box and same router! I can only think that the problems started when the broadband speed increased to 200.
He has been messaging Ubisoft and they have informed him that the problem is with Virgin latency problems. The latency running on his x-box is 168ms and the maximum for live is 150ms.
How can this be resolved please as he now has games worth around £100 that can't be played online for more than 5 minutes without being disconnected and told that "connection has been lost" although wifi is still up and running.
It seems there are lots and lots of people having problems with this issue and a resolution is needed sooner rather than later.
Welcome to the forum and I'm very sorry to hear of the problems your son is experiencing when playing online. I'm going to send you a PM for some info to help us locate you and run a few checks on your connection.
Is your son's Xbox connected wired or wireless?
Any particulate game this happens on or is it with every game?
A cable and wall clips is the easiest and cheapest way to go weather routing through the house or outside and around the walls
