World of Warcraft bad latencey and disconnects

Hi all, I'm having similar problems to all in the thread on Blizzard forum.

Random disconnects and high latency. Can anyone shed some light on this please. ?

I'm using VIVID 200 Optical Fibre  with a wired connection to Blizzard

Re: World of Warcraft bad latencey and disconnects

Would it be possible to post WinMtr results showing the issue?

You can find WinMtr here - http://winmtr.net/

Re: World of Warcraft bad latencey and disconnects

Is like this since week and no one is **bleep** caring and I'm really getting nervous. At this point i expect to change ISP and to be not charge for anything because is their fault.

Currently 1800ms ping. Only thing that, temporarily, fixes it is a reboot of the superhub. (Mine is in modem mode).

Re: World of Warcraft bad latencey and disconnects

Guys please provide WinMtr results.  If you want to get this looked into you need to be able to show evidence to Virgin media that it's on their system or possibly with their peering partner.

It's ok saying that ping is 1800ms - but it doesn't show WHERE the problem might be.  IP to check -

Re: World of Warcraft bad latencey and disconnects

Hi, I had a couple of dc's this morning but so far today it's been fine. This is MTR with a decent connection, no problems.

I'll post again if I have any problems. Like most of the others though it's a random problem for me. It's not constant.

Re: World of Warcraft bad latencey and disconnects

The main thing to do is to post when the problems are occurring - so we can see an abnormal trace.  As you quite rightly said currently those stats are perfect.

As i've posted in every post about this and still after WEEKS not getting any response.

PS: this is also my connection in the last 2 weeks. I personally think the ping suck too much to be a 50mb fiber..
