Hi, I've had virgin internet for a few years and it's usually been fine. I never had any problems but recently I've been lagging super bad on Xbox. I use wired connection, I've rebooted my hub so many times. I restored it to factory defaults and nothing's changed. I'm suppose to be getting 50 mbs and earlier today it was 0.42! The mbs aren't the issue tho it's constantly lagging in Overwatch or getting kicked from the game due to connection issues.
go to http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping and create a ping monitor, although for it to work you'll have to disable the firewall on the hub. See if you can get 24 hours of results, it should help show how bad your latency issues are.

Really sorry to see that you're struggling with your connection, I appreciate the diagnostics you've done so far. To continue with the investigations, I wonder if you're able to pop your Hub into Modem Mode and let us know how it performs then.
