So there has been a high/peak time utilisation issue in my area coming up to a year now since it first started with the next "Review" (push back) date on January 18th and I have heard people say modem mode can help reduce latency when it comes to online gaming and to buy a separate router etc. I'm on a wired connection via power line adapters so would modem mode help with the latency even if there is high utilisation or will it make no difference? Thanks.
Only ever had my PS4 on modem mode, NEVER had a problem.
