Re: VIRGIN MEDIA rubbish for gaming

Make sure firewall is turned on.

Reboot - turning devices on in this order in this order

HUB3- wait for it to be accessible from GUI

XBOX

PS4

I am assuming you are using wired connections...

Re: VIRGIN MEDIA rubbish for gaming

"VIRGIN MEDIA rubbish for gaming" can agree on that one. I suggest to switch. Me and my friend cant play league of legends at the same time, because for one of us it message us that server is offline.

Re: VIRGIN MEDIA rubbish for gaming

Must be the OP, I am on 200Mb service and game on Wired and Wireless, with PC, PS3, PSVita, PS4.

Maybe its my setup, check my sig for that.

Red (VM SH2 AC Beta tester)
Running on 200Mb VM service with SH2 AC in Modem Mode, with a ASUS RT-N66U router. With this setup I get Fantastic WIRED and WIRELESS Signals in my home. I dont work for VM. But I work in IT, and I know my tech.
My advice is at your own risk.

Re: VIRGIN MEDIA rubbish for gaming

Yes I am using the Hub 3.0 the only difference will be my Firmware as I am on the trails.
I had major problems with the current public firmware where my Xbox 360 refused point blank to connect.(not such an issue for me as I just connected it to my SuperHub 2AC)

Oh and yep I do win a lot. Am prestige Master on BO1 and BO2 and not far off on BO3.

The problem is the current Hub 3 firmware has issues (the one ending J).
