Ping spikes all day. Continue through off peak

My ping is currently all over the place. Restarting resetting et cetera doesn't help. This is overnight, so off peak. And the ping spikes make any type of gaming almost impossible. Sometimes on mobile devices the connection drops all together for a short while. Anyone got any suggestions?

This is a wired connection

Re: Ping spikes all day. Continue through off peak

You have a super hub 1 in router mode so you will need to reboot every now and then but if your put it in modem mode with a PC or your own router it will be fine.

On another note any uploading or downloading going on by a device you might not know about if you hit your upto limit you will buffer and spike high this happens to all super hub/ hubs and running your own QoS will solve most of that.

Re: Ping spikes all day. Continue through off peak

Hi JamesIAm

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

I'm sorry to see that you are experiencing issues with your broadband connection.

I would like to check your connection for any issues, however I was unable to locate your account. I've sent you a PM (purple envelope icon, right corner) with some details for you to confirm please. Once you have replied I can look further into this.

In the meantime can you post your router information for me please as this will help us further. To do this type in 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, no need to sign in, on the top right you will see router status. Within here you will have downstream, upstream and network log. You can copy and paste this information, that would be great.

Hope to hear from you soon

Sam
