Packet loss and ping spikes every 2 minutes exactly.

So me and my flatmate have been getting rather frustrated when trying to play CS GO, we were getting frequent lag spikes.

Last night I realised that they were happening EXACTLY every 2 minutes. I downloaded pingplotter to be sure and lo and behold the graph confirms it:

As you can see, occasionally there'd be another spike at random times, but the ones every 2 minutes still happened like clockwork. I'm not really in the know for this kinda thing so can anyone tell me what could be causing this? At first I thought it could be something on my computer but the fact that it's happening for all of us surely indicates not?

Oh here's our graph that monitors our connection - http://imgur.com/a/e0hzU , although it's not showing the regular packet loss like the pingplotter is for some reason, maybe it only pings every minute or two so keeps on missing it? The lag spikes only last 5 seconds or so each time, but as you can imagine when playing a game like CS GO it almost makes it unplayable.

Thanks guys!

Hello Mattheus

Could you tell me what router you are using? I know there is a problem with the Superhub 3 routers supplied by Virgin Media that causes latency spikes. If you are using a Superhub 3 router, switching to the Superhub 2ac router may resolve your issue.
