Hi,
I am using Superhub 2 and have NAT TYPE 2 with wireless connection and NAT TYPE 3 with wired connection.
Surely this can't be correct?

Re: NAT TYPE 3 with a wired connection!!

Someone who did the firmware was thinking most people would go wireless.

If you want something better use modem mode and your own router.

yes just on an off again, should be in advanced seting list aswell to "reboot Device"

if you use both type of connection a lot going back from wireless to wired ect you may find seting up the ps4 with a static ip address and forwarding a few port's easyer in the long run you can use same ip for both it's static an wireless address, link below with info on how to do this if you want to try this route

https://portforward.com/networking/static-ip-ps4/

this should not be needed tho if your just running the 1 ps4 wired full time now tho

Re: NAT TYPE 3 with a wired connection!!

sounds like Upnp just playing up should be easy fix just need to clear the upnp table

Turn off Upnp and then turn it back on, then reboot the router with ur ps4 turn off, this should clear the Upnp table.

Next make sure to connect the ps4 wired first this should then give you nat type 2

Re: NAT TYPE 3 with a wired connection!!

Thanks for the advice. When you say reboot the router is it just a case of turning it off/on?

Re: NAT TYPE 3 with a wired connection!!

I now have NAT TYPE 2 wired connection. Thanks for the advice. I turned UPnP off then on and rebooted.
Still not tested gaming with friends. I may be back, hahaha!
