Latency and lag spikes since upgrade

Ever since my 'upgrade' online gaming has been a joke. The latency and lag spikes are horrible.
Using a wired connection since day one I am now lucky to get 40 down and 4mb with is going on?

Re: 200vivid unplayable

Hello pete3

I am sorry to hear you are having problems with lag and speed since the upgrade we will take a look.

The area is looking quite good, low traffic levels and error free. The connection is looking good also, all levels nicely in specification. Are you still having problems, please would you try speedtest.net leaving the default server as this will hopefully remain on our network.

Thank you

Nicola

Re: Latency and lag spikes since upgrade

Pete Please post your config.

What device PC / PS4 / PS3 / XBOX1 / XBOX360 ?

What Games are you having problems with.

Where are the host servers based. UK / US or Europe

Superhub / SH2 / SH2AC / SH3

Modem mode or Router Mode.

Have you done a speed test on a different device

Running on 200Mb VM service with SH2 AC in Modem Mode, with a ASUS RT-N66U router. With this setup I get Fantastic WIRED and WIRELESS Signals in my home. I dont work for VM. But I work in IT, and I know my tech.
My advice is at your own risk.

Re: Latency and lag spikes since upgrade

It's happening again, Lagg, jitter unplayable and booted from games almost luke it's unstable.

I'm using a ps4 playing destiny...with a superhub2, wired connection.

Speedtest vary anywhere between 160-180 down. 4-6 up.
