Lag spikes in KT3 area (03)

Since 23rd of Aug my internet has been unstable then today (24th Aug) it was down for most of the day till around 8-9pm and now since when I play games my ping goes from 23-30 then suddenly shoots to 900+! Super annoying and I don't want to call customer service again as they will just ask me to turn the router on and off then make an appointment for engineer. I was told however there was an unexpected outage in my area but seems to me it wasnt fixed properly. It is clearly noting to do with my hardware and its something happening with the line outside. I hope someone can help and pass the message onto the right people.

I've also logged into the virgin media site to test the status and I get "we are trying to sort you out" after the test. Again its asking me to call CS if it doesnt get fixed after 10min, which it didnt.

Thank you

Re: Lag spikes in KT3 area (03)

Hi there mason_chan168,

Thanks for your post and very sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

It does indeed sound like you're having some connection issues. Sorry about this.

I've had a look and there does appear to be an issue with your equipment. I can see that activation was completed, however, it is having some trouble with locking on to the network at present. I've checked the network segment itself and there doesn't appear to be any faults there.

I can also see that we've already arranged for an engineer to come out and sort this for you.

Please let me know if there is anything more I can do to help.

Take care,

Nat_J
