Once again I am suffering from connection issues especially when gaming. I lag, my character freezes and packets are not being sent as bullet damage and I am really getting tired of chasing Virgin Media to constantly get this fixed. I don't spend £1000's on gaming to be let down by a poor quality connection. Is their an alternative to the cheap piece of Chinese plastic also known as the super hub (Definitely nothing super about it). Its not worth the living room space it occupies. Here's my results after having a boost cable installed on my hub
1 year 2 months of speed drops each day due to overutilisation from 100mb to 3mb every day was what i had ....THEY JUST UPGRADED MY FRIEND AROUND THE CORNER TO 200MB FREE OF CHARGE AND AT THE SAME MONTHLY COST OF HIS 150MB ....guess what, first day 200mb next day 3mb rofl ,i dont have to tell you that this company will always give resolution days that never get resolved and will continue to add new customers to a network that has been going under for 2 years now ....
i have a fix to get constant download speeds OF 70MB AND 16.5MBPS UPLOAD IDEAL FOR GAMING I PING AT 9 IN BF4 and NO PEAK TIME SLOWDOWNS AT ALL ,
COME JOIN ME AT BT ,I WISH I HAD LEFT VIRGIN LONG AGO
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear you're having trouble gaming. I've just checked your connection and can see no issues from here. Your power levels, SNR and area contention are all healthy. How are you connected to the hub? Wired or wireless? It might be worth running a traceroute to the server you play on and posting it here for us to take a look at.
I connect via a wired connection as for the server all I know is it would be one of the many Xbox live servers. I did run a couple of tracers through and they came back as timed out up to number 30. Thanks
