You're already on about as fast path as the VM connection gets unfortunately. There's no concept of interleaving certain connections while others go fast path as there is on BT's services.

VM could in theory have a gamer profile but it would realistically only make a tiny difference to ping and may even cause problems if hosting a game.

You need to bear in mind, the ping you see to the servers isn't necessarily on  VM's side.

It could be the server-side, too. Such as the location of the server, how it handles connections, how many others are using it, etc.

Please do a test at http://www.speedtest.net/ and post the link to your results.

Re: Is VM have any option like fastpath or gamer profile?

Yikes. If you're getting 300-500 either your game servers are in New Zealand or the Far East or you have a problem.

If the pings are much better early in the morning that points to a problem with oversubscription.

See if the pings are better outside of the 8pm - 11pm time frame.

Also if you're using wireless try connecting directly via a cable.

There may also be a problem with your VM service as a whole.

300-500ms ping is not normal on VM. Pings to European servers should be more like 30-50, pings to the USA perhaps 80-150 depending where in the US the servers are.

Re: Is VM have any option like fastpath or gamer profile?

Servers are germany, france and UK. Ping morning around 50 minimum, after 4pm spikes 150-1000, or depends of evening, just around 300. Im vired connection to router, pc ok, same on couple other NIC in my pc and other devices from home.

Internet speed:

.

Notice that here ping is Sheffield, couple miles only away. Im talking about ping to any EA server in Europe.

Latency here :

My Broadband Ping - VM 100MB fibre optic

I know about many utilisation tickets which moving from one date to another date whole year.

Im just asking is here any way reduce ping by reduce amount of hops or so. For example do not go to my favourite France server in path like Bradford > Amsterdam. Why I need hop all time via Netherlands?

Tracing route to 77.111.209.211 over a maximum of 30 hops

13 50 ms 87 ms 80 ms 77.111.209.211

Trace complete.

Its ping by trace, but in game its x3. Day when I changed tier from 60MB to 100MB. 6pm day before change tier - ping 30, ok. Next day, when tier become 100MB - 6pm ping 50-100 (same servers). In one day everything changed.

Re: Is VM have any option like fastpath or gamer profile?

If it were just the route was the issue, a VPN might help. It would hinge on selecting one that used local infrastructure as an in point and an out point closer (in hop terms) to your target server. Might be worth a punt as a lot of them offer a free trial...but youll be paying extra after that.

However with your horror story of a BQM, I doubt it would make much difference.

Re: Is VM have any option like fastpath or gamer profile?

ok, no VM fast path solution-that's the answer, only rubbish internet while many advertising on tv about fastest ISP. With nostalgia remember times with sky and pretty fair 22ms ping and stable line.

Im just waiting till move house in next 2 months and will NEVER use VM services any more after this year nightmare.

Clearly my answer what I`ll tell to people who will ask about VM internet.

Avoid people, avoid!

Had this for the last 4 years with a fault code logged for utilization and constantly moving review dates.
