Irregular disconnections since 150Mb/SuperHub 2 upgrade - Help Please

Since upgrading to a 150Mb connection with a SuperHub 2, I am experiencing disconnects in multiple games but most prominently in Eve-online. Likely cause according to other people's experiences is due to packet-loss. I have multiple clients running on one or more machines on a 1Gbps network. Sometimes, only one client will disconnect when other clients on the same or other machines stay connected fine.

I have also experienced some full disconnects as you can see from the trace below.

Please note, I was not experiencing any of these problems before the upgrade.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Granthsmith,

 

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear you're having trouble with Eve online.

Looking at your network log I can see a few T3s which would cause brief drops but this would affect your overall connection not just some clients at a time.

As you're running multiple clients it's likely the upstream is getting congested which is causing the disconnections. Have you tried with just one running? Does this still drop out?

Hi John,

Thanks for the response, those T3's were very evident and yes, we lost everything when those happened! I have had it happen when I've only had the one client and the fact that the link was perfectly stabling running one or multiple clients before we had our 150mbps upgrade shows that the up or downstream bandwidth is perfectly sufficient so it must be something further out in the network.
