Inconsistent connection and big lag

I have the 150mbps download speed package and i have a wired connection. I can not even play call of duty anymore because of the lag my connection is never stable i test it 4 times in a row and it varies from 120mbps at the best and 11 mbps at the worst on average. is there any way i can have a stable connection?

Does it vary randomly or do slow speeds coincide with peak usage times ?

It may be worth setting up a BQM at http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

It may also be worth posting your levels here, go to 192.168.0.1 , don't login but just go to the stats pages.

In about 1-2 weeks a member of Virgin staff on here should get to this and will hopefully be able to throw light on your problems.

i am dynamic not static so a BQM wouldn't work and 1 to 2 weeks is kinda pathetic

Everyone on here (apart from 1 or 2 business customers) including me are on dynamic and if you look around the forums there are plenty of BQM's being posted, I've just posted a few. The ip is pretty static and will go months, possibly years without it changing.

You can also still post your stats.
