Huge ping spikes regularly for the past few months

I mainly play League of Legends and at the start, I never had these internet problems with Virginmedia, no ping spikes whatsoever. But in the last few months, I keep getting huge ping spikes at random times, from 25ms 790+ ms.

I go into a game and it's completely normal, 25ms for 8 minutes and then suddenly it goes up to 600, then 700 and so on, it delays my actions for like 3 seconds and more sometimes which makes the game unplayable for me and affects other players in the game as well.

I thought VM might be doing maintenance in my area and that's why I'm getting these huge ping spikes, but it's been too long and too much, I've lost too many games because of this randomness, I'm afraid to even go into a game with my friends because I have no idea when the ping issues will hit again and I will make it and unpleasant experience for my friends and other players in the game.

I was searching about these ping issues and read that I need to post a tracert, so here it is(the ping is normal at the moment, however it was above 700 10 30 minutes ago):

Which HUB are you using?

How are you connecting to it?

Re: Huge ping spikes regularly for the past few months

So we can help us to help you, can you

Go to your Superhub Log in screen

Do NOT log in.

Little button top right.....

Can you post Upstream, Downstream and Network logs.

Screen caps are nice, C&P will do- Don't stress about formatting if you C&P. Someone will get a look and see if there's anything obvious amiss.

Re: Huge ping spikes regularly for the past few months

Your power levels are okay- set up a BQM

HERE

Run it for say 24 hrs, and post the result.

Dont forget youll need to make sure your super hub is configured to reply to ICMP echo requests...

Re: Huge ping spikes regularly for the past few months

Do I do this and then leave the page open for the whole day?

Re: Huge ping spikes regularly for the past few months

Nope you just set the account up, then log in to it when you want to post the results. You dont need to keep teh page open, or even your computer on. As long as your HUB is on it will work.
