For around 3 months I've been experiencing random disconnects through gaming, wow, Battlefield 1, Overwatch etc
Internets been solid throughout though. 220 mb down 12 mb up no problem streaming or downloading. So I thought perhaps it may be my Super hub 2.0ac. I ordered a hub 3.0 and since then no disconnects but my ping in wow is excruciating.
ranges from 200 to 800 and often hangs and then the game comes up to speed in bursts. Again download and upload are fine it just seems to be related to wow. Comes and goes but always seems to hit when I least want it to.
Quick update: Engineer came out to fix our crackling phone line (unrelated) I asked him if he could check my power levels, said they were way too high, put an attenuater? on and said that should fix it. Will report back in a week or so.
Just spoken with a blizzard employee (as i was getting 5000+ms, like everyone would be running still then when it came back they'd done half the dungeon without me), and they told me to run the tests here:
Yeah i actually managed to get through to someone at virgin that was willing to put a slight bit of effort into looking into it and they had there tech department look at my routetrace but they said it all looked normal, not very helpful considering its an intermittent thing.
