-- Red (VM SH2 AC Beta tester) Running on 200Mb VM service with SH2 AC in Modem Mode, with a ASUS RT-N66U router. With this setup I get Fantastic WIRED and WIRELESS Signals in my home. I dont work for VM. But I work in IT, and I know my tech. My advice is at your own risk.
what is an acceptable amount of buffer bloat that wont affect gaming?
Its complicated buffer bloat only happens when your maxing your upto limit in download or upload or both so the point I'm getting at is don't download or upload the super hub/hub has no QoS and likely the reason your buffer bloat test shows good for just your download it that the buffer size is optimized for 200Mb on rate limiting and that too is complicated even if it does not seem to it to which you can do just the size of the buffer or and with number of packet limit which is very useful for per flows in a QoS. So if you don't download or upload that you know about and not being DoS you can game but to game and download or upload you need QoS as in your own setup/router but your QoS is only as good as the bandwidth available as said in my link above.
