High Ping /Latency issues

Hi, for a number of weeks I've been having issues with Latency when gaming. Yesterday I ran a BQM and I've had the below outcome. I've phoned technical support on numerous occasions and they haven't been a huge help. I'm in London, area 22. 

If you need any more information please let me know

You have a hub 3 thats likely the reason.

The fix may take some time but it been a problem for years about now.

Hmm I would agree but I was having the same issue with the Hub2. The whole reason why I have the Hub 3 now is because Virgin said it would resolve my latency issues. I also have the Viilvid gamer package

Their are no latency issue for modem mode SH1, SH2 and SH2ac.

See I tried troubleshooting previously. Tried modem mode with my 2ac and still had the same issues.
I would like some clarification from the Virgin Media team whether their are any issues in Area 22 because I mentioned in my original post this is a recent issue and have been gaming wirelessly with Virgin for 10 years plus.

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

My apologies you are experiencing high ping/latency issues whilst gaming.

I would like to help further and check your connection for any issues, however I was unable to locate your account. If you can send me a Private Message confirming your name and address, I can look further into this.

In the meantime, do you get the same issue when using modem mode on the Hub 3?

Does this happen on all games?

Any issues with the broadband speeds?

Hi AdamCParker,

Thanks for the quick reply and confirming your details, I appreciate it.

Looking at your connection, the line and hub have come back as fine. The power levels are within range, there are no faults reported and the traffic on the network is running low.

If you can let me know how you get on with the above, that would be great.

Also if you can post some trace routes and ping tests please.

below is a snapshot when I test my ping on whatsmyip.org

And here is my speedtest result with differing results.

I tend to receive latency issue notifications on certain games such as Overwatch and Battleield 1 and 4. Not sure what to do at this stage. I've tried the router mode before and I had the same issues

As you can see the ping results vastly differ to my bqm
