can anyone help with this...almost 24 hours and haven't been able to play online games on iPad using wifi...I can log in but very slow and can't do anything...switch my iPad to 3G/4G all is fine.Internet is fine for everything else but gaming...very frustrating. All was fine this time yesterday!
Hey. I have also been experiencing problems with online gaming on my tablet via wifi since around 6pm December 27th. I've had no problems for past 2 years, now this. Switching to 4G and game works fine.
Switch back to wifi and I have problems.
I'm playing Game of War on Samsung Tablet. Once game loads, most in game actions, like opening chests, applying boosts, and even logging off do not respond. It's as though the instructions I apply in the game are not uploadin, as if they are being blocked. I wonder if Virgin have made some security changes affectin online gaming.
Help over the telephone, optimising router, changing settings for android device (by Virgin) has made no change to this predicament. Please help Virgin..
Yes that's the game I have been playing and now I am having problems with it...can't open chests or do anything I need to. Very frustrating all was fine until about 7pm on Sunday 27th...virgin must have done an update or something because now it doesn't work...switch my iPad to mobile data and all is fine....please virgin reply to this and shed some light on the problem...I have done all manner of things like reboot router, turned on and off. Uninstalled the app and re installed etc etc..
Hopefully Virgin will reply to this. Its very frustrating after investing substantial amounts of time playing (and money) to be blocked by what appears to be some upgrade that Virgin had applied at tea time on the 27th.

Thanks for getting in touch, sounds like there's a problem somewhere, can I just confirm if the gaming issues are restricted to Game of War or if all games are equally unresponsive?
If the problems are still ongoing it would also be helpful if you're able to provide traceroute results to the destination Game of War server, both when connected via Virgin and then again when on a 3/4G connection.
