I can't see any reason why not. I think I was already on 152Mbs when I got my PS4, but I know 100Mbs was OK for my PS3. In my experience download speed seems to be limited by Sony's servers rather than my connection.
I do use my own router and connect my consoles via Ethernet rather than wireless. I'd always recommend using a wired connection for a better chance of smooth online gameplay.
