Extremely high ping spikes and jitter in CB1

I'm getting extremely high ping spikes and jitter on my connection in CB1, especially during the evenings (it's very bad right now). I've tested over wired ethernet through the Superhub, and these spikes are particularly noticeable in online games and FaceTime calls. I can't see anything obviously wrong with SNR or power levels on the SH.

Some ping tests I ran:

Re: Extremely high ping spikes and jitter in CB1

Hi r3loaded

Thanks for posting on the community. It's nice to have you back here.

I'm sorry to read that you are having issues with your broadband connection.

I've taken a look at your connection and there is a high peak time traffic fault in your area. Our networks team are investigating the problem and are improving bandwidth and performance to help with this issue. The reference number is F004609355 and with a review date of 12th October.

The Super Hub is currently showing as offline and not polling any data. Are you able to post your router information for me please to see if there are any further issues? To do this type in 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, no need to sign in, on the top right you will see router status. Within here you will have downstream, upstream and network log. You can copy and paste this information, that would be great.

Hope to hear from you soon

Sam

Re: Extremely high ping spikes and jitter in CB1

Hiya r3loaded

Thanks for posting your router information, I appreciate it.

Looking at the stats, they are showing as fine and within the correct ranges. Just keep an eye on the downstream power levels as they should be between - 6 to +10 dBmV, if you notice them change at all, let us know.

One of my colleagues will be in touch shortly in regards to the high peak time traffic fault.

Regards

Sam
