Disconnect issues

Hi

So the last 3 days ive constantly getting disconnected from games and xbox live party chat but only for about 5 seconds and its back to normal happens constantly on the evening and its really annoying.

Any help would be appreciated.

are you using wifi or ethernet connection?

i have been having a problem with wired dropping out but wifi still works ok. an engineer said it was the SH3 and replaced it. this was about 4 hours ago and upto now it's been ok.

Sorry for late reply

No luck for me they even upgraded my package to 100 Mbps and still having issues.

im now being told to blow the ports on my xbox...really sick and tired of it now.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

 

Sorry to read you are experiencing disconnections on your Xbox.

 

Looking at your connection, the line and hub have come back as fine. I was unable to find any issues that would cause these disconnections.

 

Does this happen on all games? 

When you notice the disconnection, are other devices affected?

Happens on every game I play havent noticed on any other device really

Can I ask what NAT type you're getting on your Xbox? Are there any other consoles on your network? If so, do they have the same problem? We might need to do some port forwarding if this continues to happen.

Hi

Only have my xbox and phone on my network, whenever i check my NAT type its always open, the issue only happens when i'm playing games, when i watch videos on youtube and such its fine.

Thanks for getting back to us.

 

Can you try the connection whilst the Hub is in modem mode please to see if this continues?

 

You can also try Port Forwarding as my colleague Heather mentioned.
