DNS vulnerability

I have recently received 3 letters from VM stating i have a "multicast DNS vulnerability , i have followed the instructions in all 3 letters , but nothing seems to fix the problem .it is obviously my google chromecast which is causing the problem . Can anybody solve this problem for me , or give me the direct number for technical support , to see if they can fix it .

Thanks in advance .

Re: DNS vulnerability

Reading the article Sololobo posted, it refers to devices being left in the DMZ. Would you have set this up on your SH or a 3rd party router to get something to work perhaps?

For home networking there's really no need for a device to sit outside the protection of the firewall, assuming that services such as UPnP are working or port forwarding is configured. This would avoid these types of situations were a device responds to requests it shouldn't be getting.
