Constant online gaming disconnects on Superhub 2 firmware 2.01.03

As of the last 2-3 weeks, I have been experiencing constant disconnects on multiple online games including;

EVE Online

Guild Wars 2

Skyforge

These issues occur every 30 minutes or so, regardless of other activity. All other services (Netflix, youtube, spotify) remain functional.

The issues within the game relate to packet loss and connection issues.

 

I have tested via Ethernet and Wifi connections to the same effect.

If I run the Superhub in Modem mode, the issue disappears. This is not a solution, as it leaves my other devices non-functioning as I do not own (and am unable to buy) another router..

 

Searching across multiple forums for these MMOs and others (including World of Warcraft and Elder Scrolls Online) reveals that people have the same issue as of firmware 2.01.03 within the last 2-3 weeks.

Thank you for you post and collating all the information.

 

I'm sorry it does look like something may be going on with the SH2 and that firmware. We are definitely looking into it.

 

We will do our best to keep you informed although please ask for an update at any time.

Welcome to the forums, I'm sorry to see you have been having trouble with gaming. 

 

Looking at your connection things seem to be ok from this side. I have double checked and we don't have any gaming issues reported for the firmware on the Superhub 2AC.

 

Are you connecting wired or wirelessly? If wireless try wired. Pop the hub into modem only mode and the computer into safe mode with networking, do you find you still have the same issues?
