Constant disconnects

Playing elder scrolls online with 30mb wired connection and I'm being disconnected from the game at least once an hour but normally more. Searching their forums it seems to be because my broadband isn't "stable" enough so any kind of spike or lag gets me booted. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

I'm guessing this forum is a waste of time then? It seems you only get a reply if you post loads technical stuff I dint know about. All I want to do is play my games and justify the money I pay each month.

You get a reply from staff in around 48 hrs. Usually one of the community volunteers would pick up before that, but clearly yours was missed.

 

Do you play other online games? Are you experiencing disconnect on them too? or just on Elder Scrolls?

 

Next if you can post your stats from your superhub..



Go to your Superhub Log in screen

Do NOT log in.

Little button top right.....


Can you post Upstream, Downstream and Network logs.



Screen caps are nice, C&P will do- Don't stress about formatting if you C&P. Someone will get a look and see if there's anything obvious amiss.

Not gad issues with any other games. I'll try the thing you said. I'm not too technical though I just pay my money plug my thing in and expect it to work

I had the same problem for weeks... via wireles connection.. i have found a solution if you can do wireles try this login to your router.. radio settings.. 2g or 5g whatever you use... and change the outage to 54..rather than the higher ones.. click apply.. this has sorted my problem for getting disconnected from online gaming... hope this helps Smiley Happy

Login into your Super Hub 2 router settings (using a browser type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar).
Default password is "changeme".
Select "Advanced Settings".
Select "Wireless Radio".
Depending which frequency you are connected to (2G or 5G), change the wireless mode to 54Mbps.
Click "Apply".
