Re: Bufferbloat Issues

Your own router (not super hub or hub) doing QoS can help.

Re: Bufferbloat Issues

If you have a Hub 3 then you might want to take a look at this thread:

http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Gaming-Support/Hub-3-Compal-CH7465-LG-TG2492LG-amp-CGNV4-Latency...

In particular the paragraph titled "Hub 3 observations".

Re: Bufferbloat Issues

Let me know if another router makes any difference ? I have a feeling it won't and my theory is to why vm is so bad for gaming is the poor routing.

Re: Bufferbloat Issues

Hello AidenP

Welcome to our forum, I am sorry we took a while getting here. I do wonder whether your problem is entirely down to buffer bloat as we have a issue with high peak time traffic on your segment . The reference is F004186604 and would like to carry out some upgrade work. The review date is currently showing 01 FEB 2017. Please accept our apologies and if you would be so kind to wait a few days one of the forum team will be in contact to discuss further.

Thank you for your patience

Nicola
