Re: Blizzard Games Issue

Hi Xoortes,

I'm afraid due to our internal firewall we're unable to check the links you've posted.

Could you post the traces and pathpings here in plain text for us to take a look at?

Re: Blizzard Games Issue

Hi Xoortes,

Thanks for posting those for us to. Both results look totally normal. I'm not seeing any high ping results and all the starred out hops mean those servers are set not to respond to pings.

I ran a check on the IP address you were concerned about and 10.250.132.1 is based in Los Angeles. Are you using a VPN or a proxy at all?

Re: Blizzard Games Issue

Hi, thanks for the answer.

No I'm not using any VPN or proxy services.  I did a tracer test from the router and the result is the same.

I've done a whois check for 10.250.132.1 it is owned by IANA The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority

On some of VM gateways its 10. with you getting a WAN IP on others its the WAN IP gateway for the WAN IP your using.

You can not ping 10. the reason you can get a reply in traceroute is that you are not pinging 10. you are pinging another IP with a given TTL in the packet for a route to reply back showing you it got the packet and could not forward it on because the TTL went 0. this is why pathping fails and shows 100% packet loss.

Re: Blizzard Games Issue

I thought about to use modem mode, but first I have to find a reliable 1000Mbs wireless router for a reasonable price. That Dlink what I have is a junk....

Thanks for the help guys.
