Another Strict Nat Type (Rainbow Six Siege) PC

Tried turning my firewall off (windows)

Changed the ports to this : UDP: 3074 and 6015

Turned off the hubs firewall and UPnP

Sometimes rebooting the hub helps but within a few games it rears it's ugly head.

Guy who plays the game with me also had this problem and has taken the exact same steps and he managed to get his to moderate.

I also get this with CoD too.

Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Another Strict Nat Type (Rainbow Six Siege) PC

Hi aphex187,

Thanks for posting, pleased to hear that using modem has helped and you now have a Moderate Nat Type, placing your console in the DMZ might have a similar result if you've not yet tried this.

As an observation I can also see that there was an intermittent SNR (noise ingress) fault on your cable, notably over Monday and Tuesday that may have some impact on the quality of your connection, this looks to have recovered now though.

Hope Rainbow Six is going wellSmiley Wink

I can't believe the forum moderator is telling you to put yourself in the DMZ. That is horrible advice for a PC user. Be ashamed of yourselves tech "Guru's"
