Well, what can I say, I'm not surprised at this. Another year and yet again Virgin Media can't even handle a simple game of FIFA. Constant disconnects, even after having a brand new SH2 fitted, When will Virgin get their act together and provide the service that we pay for? Nobody I know that uses Sky, BT, etc have any issues. Whereas everyone I know on Virgin Media DOES have issues.
Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems when playing FIFA16. I'm unable to locate your details so I will send you a PM for some addtional info to locate you and run a few checks on your connection.
Can you confirm what console you are playing this on and whether you are connected wired or wireless?
Thanks for replying to my PM. I've been able to run a few checks on your connection and everything looks healthy. You mentioned that you are connected wireless, have you been able to connect through ethernet to see if this makes any difference?
Is it just when playing FIFA that you get these problems? Do these problems happen on any other games?
I have also included a link here with some advice on improving your wireless connection.
It's not possible to connect an Ethernet cable due to the position of the hub. I have tried all of these steps (when I was having these issues last year). I have also tried a wifi repeater which has not fixed the situation. It's only on FIFA, but the fact that no other ISP has these issues points towards the problem being on your end.
Thanks for getting back to me. We would need you to try a wired connection for diagnostic purposes as wireless can be prone to may types of interference. If distance is the reason that you are unable to achieve a wired connection then accessories such as powerline adaptors is one option to overcome this
If the problems are still occurring over a wired connection can you post a trace route up for us to have a look at to see if there are any problems showing on our network?

This is with a wired connection. With regards to buying powerline adapters, your own support staff told me that a wifi repeater would solve this issue!
It's pretty clear that the problem isn't on EA's side of things. I could play perfectly okay on my BT connection in my old flat, but when I go back to a virgin media connection I cant even play 10 minutes without being disconnected. To be honest the way you palm off a KNOWN issue onto somebody else is quite frankly pathetic.
