This morning my iPhone (3GS) has been unable to join my home network via wifi. Previously there hasn't been any problem with this and I had not changed any settings on either the phone or the Virgin hub.
Since I found I had a problem I have tried all the various usual techniques to solve it: switching everything on and off again, changing the password, SSID name and resetting the network (not all at the same time, obviously). Nothing seems to have worked. Another home laptop can connect to the wifi network so I know the wifi signal works.
My iPhone can see the network, but every time it tries to connect I am asked to put in the password and get the same message: "unable to join the network". Even if I put the wrong password in (as a test) I get the same message.
Could you please provide full details of the issue you have?
The reason I ask is because the last post on this thread was in April, and we have had a firmware update on the hub since then which may be relevant.
Please tell us when you first had this problem, if it only affects your IPhone or other devices too.
Also explain how you try to connect and at which point it fails.
Could you also take the time to take a look at a thread we have started here regarding wireless issues on the hub.
If the examples already posted relate to the issues you have currently, then please post on that thread so we can pass your information over to the firmware development team who are working on a resolution for this problem.
