It's either a typo or it depends where you live.

hum, i will leave the funds in, unless a staffer can check at some point. 

 

@ttyrie. from what i remember from reading the leaflets , all it said was first bill would be a double month one, no mention of dates.

Not in the current version it doesn't.

 

All companies spread out billing across the months, as it's logistically impossible to bill millions of people all on the same day. When you get billed on Virgin depends on when you get installed

 nice to see all the posts i make about VM forum support being pants making a diffrence around here LOL.

 

thats 3 questions i have asked since first ordering and all have gone unanswered, well you tried to show you was making the minum effoft on one but the other 2 have had no forum staffer's reply to my threads.

 

what a big fat joke, must i remind you that you sell broadband and online forum support is a must now days.

 

still havent been billed yet so you still have time to pip the post and give me a date, but i doubt you will get of your back side and do the job you are payed to do.

 

love from a new customer, trying to find his bill date out so i can fund this shambles of an act you call online support

nope and with it being the first one it will be a doubler, so would be nice to know when to expect this bill to be invoiced and even better a good est of when the direct debit will be taken.

If you really want an estimate of when your bill will be available your best bet is to speak with the Collections Team based in the UK.

 

They will have all the info available and will probably be able to fix a billing date for you and get your first bill produced.

 

You will need to phone retentions and ask them to put you through to them.

The first bill can take up to a month to be generated from the date of installation.

 

The forum team are here to resolve technical queries. They cannot answer billing queries as that would require information covered the Data Protection Act, so requires account security to be cleared, which cannot be done on the forum.

Except Collections can't do what you have suggested.

 

Firstly, they only deal with accounts that are overdue, which this isn't

 

Secondly they cannot force a bill to be generated. It will be generated based on the install date, same as everyone elses.

 

If you are going to offer advice on here, please offer correct advice. All that would happen based on what you have suggested is that the OP would be passed from Customer Relations, to Collections and then into Customer Services.

 

Once the first bill has been generated, and as long as the account is on D/D, then Customer Services can normally arrange for the bill date and D/D date to moved if required.
