I have had a good run of great games on Fifa 14 on the xbox one until xmas/turn of the year I have since had the worst experience of delay/lag and its winding me up. I have the Xbox on a wired connection, through a DMZ, with IPSEC pass through on, low firewall. Since the problems have started, ive changed a few settings with moving from DMZ to port forwarding, turning firewall off, resetting the Upnp (by turning it off and on) yet anything I seem to do nothing works, its very laggy (stuttery and delay) I just dont know what to do. I have also found that streaming films etc from Netflix etc has become a little bit of a nightmare also even when it is the only device connected to the SH. Any advice would be welcome, as it is annoying me.
PS, ive just bought a router on ebay to see if this can ease the problems as well.
Sorry to hear about the gaming and latency problems you have been experiencing, I've run a number of checks on your modem and network segment and can't see any obvious issues reported that could be causing latency problems.
Could you please tell us if your connection is wired or wireless?
Is it just the Xbox that you experience problems on or are other devices also affected, are able to stream ok on a PC for example?
Did you manage to get the other router and connect this?
It is a wired connection, but was also getting a few issues streaming programs when using the superhub. Since ive changed to a secondary router the latency in game is still apparent in both Fifa and Call of Duty Ghosts however streaming has improved a little.
I have renewed my contract wth virgin And i am due to recieve the superhub 2 in post soon, i will post a further update after i have had a chance to try it.
Cheers for the update, hopefully the SuperHub2 will improve the connection with Fifa. Let us know when you have it up and running and we'll cast an eye over the connection side of things to make sure all looks ok.
