The question is..
Why are virgin blocking websites you should have a choice what websites you choose to go on not virgin, your the one that pays for it ...block sites like child porn sites I agree on that not, Sites that are no harm to anyone should not be blocked.........
I Left Bt Broadband 1Mth a go to join Virgin, and now I hear this, is there a way I could cancel my contract, after a month for another ISP......
Ive used this web site for years VIRGIN www.xploder.net please tell me why you have blocked this

Can you both go to a command prompt and type 'tracert www.xploder.net' and then post the results?

Ben without coming across rude, this is occuring for many websites i'm trying to access, i've tried accessing these sites via my Blackberry and they seem fine.

I am unable to access the site http://laurenhealey.co.uk and have had reports that the problem is the same for all Virgin Media users. The site can be accessed without problems via other hosts.
I ran tracert laurenhealey.co.uk and got the message
"unable to resolve target system name laurenhealey.co.uk"
Is this a DNS problem?
Would be very grateful for any feedback or information concerning how I should report this issue. I haven't used VM support before and it all seems a bit messy.

and all the mentioned sites above i cannot access, again from my blackberry its fine (using BIS not Wireless) they also do not work if i use other laptops or pcs in the house. i've used chrome, firefox and IE and STILL get nothing.
where is support? but all i get from them is, "we've done something on ourside so it'll work in 15 mins" 15mins pass and you've guessed it, still unable to access the sites.

The point is VIRGIN MEDIA are blocking sites...... If you Virgin are blocking web sites they should give the customer the option to cancel the contract with no penalty if I knew this was happening I would of not swapped to Virgin Media -
so Virgin why have you blocked this site
