Virgin Media Security on Windows 8 RTM

When will VM Security be upgraded to work with Windows 8 RTM?

Apparently Titanium 2011 from Trend Micro is incompatible with Windows 8, it needs to be upgraded to Titanium 2013.

Please advise as soon as possible so I can look for other alternatives if it is going to take too long.

Re: Virgin Media Security on Windows 8 RTM

VM will probably have to contact Radialpoint and ask them. Radialpoint provide the VMS software which is based on a Trend Micro engine. Perhaps VM will contact Trend Micro and ask them directly.

Get some security software which has been approved for WIndows 8 while you wait to see if VMS will eventually be compatible. As VMS still seems to have problems with some XP, Vista and Windows 7 systems I suspect it will be some time.

Re: Virgin Media Security on Windows 8 RTM

Cheers for the reply.

I will use Microsoft Defender in the mean time. Seems to do the job.

VMS was working perfectly fine on Windows 7 before I upgraded.

It's something my colleaues that look after VMS are talking to our partners about - but it won't work on Windows 8 at time of release of Win8.
