Virgin Engineers.

Are these Virgin Engineers for real. I had the Tivo fitted this morning (see previous post) and now at 18.48 we still have no Virgin TV.

All the man had to do was insert 3 cables into the box and bingo. But no the box does not work so "its an outside problem" need to wait for it to be fixed. Do they know nothing about the equipement they are installing.

 

I spoke to the Tivo team who sent a signal down to my box and was told that was okay and "it is an installation problem".

 

Think I will ask for my V+ box back.

If you swap the cables from a V+ box to a TiVo - the TiVo does NOT work

 

Stuff has to be done at the VM end to get it working.

 

But he shouldn't have left until it was working.
