Re: Tv anywhere android support.

Yet on the Virgin FAQ page for TV Anywhere it states... "I have an Android mobile phone or tablet, can I still use the Remote Record app? Yes, if you want to be able to set recordings on your TiVo box using your Android device you can still use the Remote Record app to do this."

Re: Tv anywhere android support.

The video clip shows the TV Anywhere on an HTC phone running Android. I also seem to recall one of the Virgin images showing the TV Anywhere app on a Blackberry as well???

Hi richard,

SlothUK's link isn't to the TV Anywhere application, but to the TV Guide application which is completely different Smiley Happy

Thanks

Re: Tv anywhere android support.

Hi statman,

The answer is in the FAQ of this board, and dannylau has also given it. Smiley Happy

We're planning to released the Android version of TV Anywhere sometime in 2013. Stick around here, though, as we'll release more information as soon as we can. Smiley Happy

Thanks

Re: Tv anywhere android support.

Hi what i would like to know is why is the Apple App produced before an Andriod version?

Andriod has sold 64.1% of all handsets sold last year and Apple has 18.1% so we can clearly see that the majority of people have andriod handsets but still big companies favour Apple even though they sell no where near as much handsets as andriod.

I thought it makes sense to catter for the majority first?

The TiVo iOS app that the TV Anywhere app is based on was released first, therefore VM could start work on their iOS app first
